On this beautiful misty morning several of us went to scout Eno River State Park for a group outing. The Visitor Center is very helpful and be sure to get a map if you go there. We used 6101 Cole Mill Road, Durham for GPS guidance. There are several trails that meander along the river. We found a wilderness cabin just after crossing the Eno on a swinging bridge.

There are many photo opportunities along the way and fall color should add a lot to this area.

    • Thanks for that info. We also went to West Point on the Eno which was about 7 miles away… they also have a Museum of Photography only open on weekends, but might be interesting. Have you ever been to the Museum??

  1. I didn’t make it over to Eno River State Park often enough when I lived up there, but it was a fun place to go for birds, deer, lizards, and wildflowers too!
